IIHS 'City Scripts' Session on Libraries

20th March 2018

March 10th, 2018, New Delhi. IIHS 'City Scripts' invited TCLP's Mridula Koshy and Goethe Insitut's Thomas Meyer to engage in a discussion on libraries & library movements.

What does it mean to operate a community library that caters to first-generation readers? What kind of intellectual and social space can a library be for any community? How can one use #ReadingIsThinking and read-aloud programs to create new thinkers? What is the impact of digital technologies & digital libraries? How can social media influence community library movements? How do we balance the immediate needs & aspirations of urban Indians with our larger goals of #ReadingIsThinking? What are the key concerns in scaling up the Community Library model?

And much moreā€¦.
